I love everyone and I hate everyone. I love myself and I hate myself. These concepts of love and hate can coexist and blend. As I struggle with the complexities that arise with human connection, my work invites viewers to relate to the push and pull of extremes in archetypes of gender, sexuality and body image. There is an authoritative voice in society that is fueled by the overwhelming inundation of media. This authoritative voice creates a false binary construct. My work asks viewers to drop their facades and acknowledge that we are a spectrum of fluidity.
